Ryan Dorsey is speaking out approximately the arrest of his wife, Naya Rivera.
The 34-year-early actor took to Twitter as regards Tuesday, asking both fans and media to love his and Rivera’s privacy during their “hard era.”
“This is a hard period for everyone in the intimates especially for Naya and I,” Dorsey wrote. “This isn’t some realism act out, this is our simulation, and I ask that everyone especially ‘the media’ make smile honoring our privacy and treat us/the issue how you would sensitive a loved one to be treated. Perhaps behind friendliness, lionize, without judgement, and as negative a issue this is, taking into account positivity and adore. Thanks. -RD.”
Rivera was arrested and charged for domestic battery amid-door to Dorsey approaching Saturday night in Kanawha County, West Virginia, a spokesperson for the Kanawha County Sheriffs Office avowed to ET upon Sunday.
According to the spokesperson, Dorsey claimed that Rivera had struck him in the head and face. The two were allegedly arguing on pinnacle of their child, 2-year-dated son Josey, and Dorsey showed police a video made during the alleged incident.
After booking events, Rivera was taken to Kanawha County Magistrate Court, where she was arraigned and a devotion was set. She was subsequently released from custody.
The Glee star’s arrest comes a month after she filed to dismiss her divorce from Dorsey. She filed for divorce in November 2016, after two years of marriage.
