Tom Holland says a driver told the share of Spider-Man because he wasn’t and so fine-looking

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, met a talkative driver, man…

So begins a parable Tom Holland recounted going regarding for The Graham Norton Show this week, recalling a bit of his experience landing the share of the Marvel hero. As the actor remembers, the driver chauffeuring him to his unchangeable audition was “a little bit too honest,” and would not quantity less talking to him upon the way to his casting session.

“He’s chatting to me, chatting to me, chatting to me, and I’m a harmonious person, but I moreover difficulty to be then, ‘Mate, interest shut going on. I’m aggravating to learn my lines,'” Holland said.

But it gets enlarged (or worse): “He’s looking at me in the mirror… and he goes, ‘You know what, kid? I think you’as regards gonna profit it,'” said Holland. “And I was bright to hear that.”

But to the front he asked why, the driver replied, “I think you ‘harshly speaking gonna attain it because the kid that I just drove there? He is therefore fine-looking.”

Of course, that backhanded meet the expense of functioning applause to proved prescient, as Holland ultimately won the role, and will apparently sticking together it for quite some period.

“I was taking into consideration, ‘Jeez. Thank you, that’s exactly the confidence boost I way,'” he quipped upon the deed.
